Remember these fabulous chairs!!!! They were straight out of the 70's, but not anymore.
A little glue in the joints and a coat of paint made these chairs come to life. I used Old White ASCP and followed it with some clear wax. I did some minor distressing but kept it to a minimum.
I chose a Waverly's Lovely Lattice Lagoon as the fabric for the seats. The cushions were feeling flat, so I picked up some 1 inch foam and some batting to add a little extra softness for the seat. I laid my seat down on the foam and traced around it with a black sharpie. I then used a pair of scissors to cut the foam out. I used spray adhesive to adhere it to the old seat and then wrapped it in batting. I stapled the batting in place and then finished by adding the material.
Here is the finished product.
Now I just need to knock out that table!

Love them!! What a drastic change - great job!
